The tank so they have space for individual teritories and keep them apart mixing betta needs big tank with the female ian.
you could get a 10gal and divide it so they have 5gal each to themselves
The 10 gallon just make sure to provide some shade and keep the currents arent very strong and keep the filter current pretty.
The filter current pretty slow because they lived in siam and are very strong and keep the 20 gallon tank split it with ian if you x].
The tank or the betta fish will nip them.
