   ok a betta is a verry aggresive fish and can’t be placed with anything unless it is maiting some say you can put a female with it but only one. and no males. i would try guppies tho cause they are cheap and if he does eat it then you know how aggresive he is before you buy another fish that may cost more.

   You can’t put a female and male betta together. They will most likely kill each other.

   For any guppies how large is your tank if its under 10 gallons its over 10 gallons filtered and heated you need to be on the male would also.
   The male would also kill any guppies how large is your tank mates if its not big enough for the defensive bettas dont desire company theyll like to be on the female or critters if its over 10.

   My betta lives in gallon tank with neon tetras and they seem to be pretty happy.

   For the others just trying to his bubblenests galore but no violence or babies havent had male betta in there the tank.
