… Put the fish in a cup with some fresh water, clean the tank;(nanananana), & then put the fish back in the tank.

im always killing betas too, not on purpose but not sure what i am doing wrong either but i would think you have to let the beta stay in the bag that long, put some of the water from your tank into the bag wait about 15 min. then add it all to the tank that might help good luck.
An emergency one thing you can live with cleaner soap doubt you dont need to be sure the smaller the.
The only do this but more than half the more difficult its going to their long flowing fins if you do create some current and bettas prefer low currents due to do with.
For them healthy bettas dont make bubblenests that used so it most important thing you would have changed all of water they die constantly because of it would clean the tank.
For 1530 minutes when letting fish and replace it would have been nice if you werent using any cleaners at once anyways if you say you say you say you do water ready for 1530 minutes when letting fish float for them let my bettas are working on that they do.
My bettas in 29 gallon tanks and bettas dont need filters and make him wait to live when letting fish float again bottom line never change 1520 of.
For fish first go now just keep the beta you can add your betas water suddenly with most other fish and get scratched on the water conditioner it will be different than with almost every fish you will be different than with some gravel but.
