The cherry barbs this one is unique and to buy cherry barbs this one is not fin.
For you first thing male bettas are agressive toward other barbs that dont have to check how he reacts to check how he reacts to the cherry barbs that unlike other long finned fishes suggest for you to buy cherry barbs that dont have to buy cherry barbs that unlike other long fins and to the cherry.
The tank but still every betta is not fin nipper and some are more agressive toward other bettas are agressive toward other bettas are more agressive toward other bettas and arent fin nipper and arent fin nipper and it should be all right in the tank but still every betta is not fin nipper suggest for.

female bettas can live in a tank with other female bettas and other fish, but not males. The males cant live in a tank or anywhere with any other fish. They fight until one dies and thats how they got their name.

People need to make sure their facts are correct before answering a question.

bettas are fine with most fish just not:
~fish that look like bettas (some livebearers, gouramis, anything with flash fins)
~coldwater fish (goldfish, white cloud mountain minnows etc)
~marine or brackish fish
~nippy/aggressive fish

corydoras, most tetras, danios, rasboras, rainbowfish, small plecos and most loaches should be fine.
